ADVOCACY

PUP Sintang Pusa envisions a compassionate and responsible community that values the welfare of all cats through education, humane action, and collective care. The organization is dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership, ethical treatment, and sustainable animal care practices within and beyond the PUP campus. Through its initiatives—such as the Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program, rescue efforts, and adoption drives—it strives to educate, inspire, and empower individuals to take part in building a safer and kinder environment for community cats.

Adopt, Don't Shop

advocacies1

We encourage everyone to adopt rescued cats instead of purchasing them from breeders or pet stores.

Adoption not only gives animals a second chance but also supports ethical pet ownership and helps minimize stray populations on campus and in nearby communities.

Rescue and Cat Welfare

advocacies2

Learn about proper rescue procedures and care for cats in need. The organization provides guidance on safe handling, first aid, and emergency response to ensure that rescued cats receive proper attention and treatment.

Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR)

advocacies3

An essential part of the organization’s advocacy, the TNVR program promotes humane population control and disease prevention among stray and community cats. Through this effort, PUP Sintang Pusa helps reduce overpopulation, prevent the spread of illness, and foster a safer environment for both animals and people.
